Product Description:
Gulfmar MX (Marine Extra) in SAE 15W-40, is a high quality multi-grade marine oil, formulated
with highly refined base oils and a balanced package additives to provide a high proportion of detergency,
dispersancy, and antiwear protection along with minimized oil thickening or foaming. Gulfmar MX is
recommended for use in turbo charged and naturally aspirated four stroke diesel engines in severe duty
service and is suitable for most European diesel engine models, but also for some U.S.- types such as from
Caterpillar and can also be applied to transmissions requiring a marine oil with Allison C-4 specifications.

Gulfmar MX 15W-40 has very good neutralization of corrosive acids, detergent properties and prevents
formation of deposits and dispersant properties prevents formation of sludge. Gulfmar MX 15W-40 offers

Gulfmar DPO Plus, SAE 30 and 40, are high quality marine oils, developed for high output,
medium speed trunk piston diesel engines, running on distillate or light residual fuel with a sulphur
content of maximum 1.5%. Gulfmar DPO Plus marine oils are formulated with high quality paraffinic base stocks
and selected additives that provide excellent detergent, dispersant, antiwear and oxidation resistant
properties. Gulfmar DPO Plus is recommended for all high output, medium speed trunk piston marine
diesel engines and in certain reduction gear systems where this type of lubricant is specified by the
equipment manufacturer.

blended from high quality paraffinic base stocks and selected proven additives and exceed API CF
performance level requirements.

Gulfmar Select Plus marine oils have excellent thermal and oxidation stability ensuring longer engine and oil
service life, excellent detergency/dispersancy to reduce deposit formation, outstanding rust and corrosion
prevention properties, good residual fuel compatibility, very good water tolerance and excellent TBN
retention to protect against acidic corrosive wear.
Recommended Applications :
Gulfmar Select Plus is recommended for use in the latest highly rated medium speed engines equipped
with 'anti polishing ring' liners operating on high sulphur fuels. These compact and low oil consumption
engines operate at higher temperatures and have smaller sumps resulting in maximum stress for the marine oil.
The selected additives in high performance Gulfmar Select Plus grades provide the necessary
detergency/dispersancy reserve to ensure an excellent level of engine c1eanliness free from harmful
deposits. These grades also overcome the problems arising out of use of lower quality fuels that result in the

Gulfmar AC marine oils (Alkaline Crankcase) are a range of alkaline detergent crankcase system marine oils for use in
highly rated crosshead marine diesel engines particularly those with oil cooled pistons, where the sulphur
content of the used distillate fuels is below 1%. Gulfmar AC marine oils are formulated from high quality
paraffinic base oils and the latest additives. Gulfmar AC marine oils are also suitable in equipment where an SAE
30 or 40 marine oil is specified, such as certain geared transmissions, reversing clutches, oil lubricated stern tubes.
