Gulf Way slideway oils are specially compounded oils, developed for the lubrication of slides and ways and intended to eliminate the phenomenon of stick-slip in machine tool operation. The special compounding plus the use of highly refined base oils give Gulf Way slideway oils outstanding stability, extreme oiliness, adhesiveness and exceptional load carrying ability. It enables heavy loading and possesses excellent metal wetting properties and serve well as rust preventives as well as lubricants. Gulf Way oils are non-corrosive to both ferrous and non-ferrous metal. Gulf Way 68 is suited for slides and light to moderate loads, and Gulf Way 220 for slides and heavy loads.
