Gulf EP Lubricant HD (Heavy Duty) is a range of premium-quality heavy duty industrial gear oils, primarily recommended for enclosed industrial gear units working under severe shock operating conditions. Gulf EP Lubricant HD are formulated from the highest quality paraffinic base stocks and incorporate sulphur-phosphorus type extreme pressure and other agents that provide excellent protection against foaming, rust and corrosion. Gulf EP Lubricant HD are primarily recommended for enclosed industrial gear units operating under shock loading conditions and may be used in enclosed spur, helical, bevel and worm gears; their frictional characteristics are particularly beneficial in worm gears.

Gulf EP Lubricant SY gear oils are formulated with PolyAlphaOlefin (PAO) base stocks, in order to provide performance vastly superior to conventional mineral base stocks. Gulf EP Lubricant SY Gear Oil is highly recommended for gearboxes and differentials operating in extreme conditions of load and temperature. Also recommended for “mist” lubrication systems and heavily loaded roller bearings.

Gulf Synthetic Gear Oils are premium quality, 100 % synthetic, polyalkylene glycol based industrial gear oils containing antioxidant and anticorrosion additives, creating a lubricant with excellent thermal properties. The very high viscosity index offers fluidity down to very low temperatures and adequate film thickness at elevated temperatures. Recommended for heavy loaded gearboxes and worm wheel boxes, including the so-called filled-for-life units. Gulf Synthetic Gear Oil 150 can be successfully used as universal gear oil, while the 460 grade is destined for worm wheel, please advice correct appliance according to the requirements of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
