Problem 1

Every time we change the coolant it goes off again within a few months

Solution

You need to change to a more robust, Oil UK SOLCUT long life Coolant. But before dumping your old coolant, and filling up with new, it's vital that you get rid of the bacteria in your machine system first. This is simple and straightforward. All you have to do is add a 2% dose of Oil UK System Cleaner to your old coolant, and continue in use for 24 to 48 hours before you dump it. This will clean and sterilize your machine, and greatly extend the life of your new coolant. This is a vital part of the process. Problem 2

Our high pressure machines are also high foaming

Solution

This is a very common problem. The first thing to check is that the coolant concentration isn't running too high. If this is not the case you need to change to a coolant which is designed for use in soft water areas. OIL UK has several high quality very low foam coolants, and the one which is most suitable will depends on how soft your local water is, and the speed and filtration system of your machines. In extreme cases it may also be necessary for you to use OIL UK Anti-Foam Additive, but we can give you advice on this.

Our operators keep getting skin irritations
